As a project manager, you can maintain focus by dividing the project into different phases.

You also have the possibility to have phases in estimate / active / completed / closed status. This gives you, as a project manager, control over the project at all times.

You can change the status of the project or phase in two separate ways:

Project status

When you click on the status active button at the top of the link, you will see a window with all the phases the project has.

If you do not see all phases upon opening the window, you can scroll down on the phases to see them all.

Here you can easily change the status by phase.

If you choose the top line, all the phases will be set to the same status. This can be useful, for example, if you want to close the entire project. In that case, choose closed.

Status by Phase

It may be that one phase has been completed and the next phase is not yet active. As a project manager you can adjust the status easily and quickly.

You can do this by going to the project budget. Then, click on the estimate status on the phase, and select active in the window.

Note: A closed project or phase can only be reopened by a full user with a finance role. Can't reopen a project or phase? Please contact the responsible person in your company.
